Jumbo Granule for paddy fields is a kind of blocky solid preparation composed of active ingredients, spreading agents, polymeric dispersants, wetting agents and carrier.

The technology is originally from Japan.

It is listed as one of the major research and development orientations of pesticide formulation in the 12th Five-Year Plan of pesticide industry policy by Chinese Ministry of Agriculture.

Its main advantages are as below:

• After being thrown into the water surface, the blocky granules can float and vigorously dance, then move to different directions randomly and disperse active ingredients to the whole water surface quickly, then evenly forming a pesticide film on it. Due to its outstanding dispersibility, Jumble Granule even has better efficiency than traditional spraying products.
• It is designed for transplanted paddy fields with accurate measurement. End users don’t need to go into the field but thrown it on the ridge. They can directly throw the products, but can also throw the entire water soluble bags into the paddy fields without touch products, such new way saves a lot of time and greatly emancipated rural labor force.
• It is free of dust, pollution and driftless, thus is safe to surrounding crops.
• It combines the advantages of several pesticide formations like EC, WP, WDG and DF, etc., and has a prospect of wide application.

Our company has successfully developed the following varieties:

Pretilachlor+pyrazosulfuron-ethyl,

Quinclorac+pyrazosulfuron-ethyl,

Allylene oxadiazon+bensulfuron-methyl.

Among them, 15% pretilachlor+ 1.5% pyrazosulfuron-ethyl has been applied for registration on the basis of witnessing successes in field experiments in many provinces in China.
